Go Natural

T4

T4’s Go Natural is your health-leaning option in Madrid-Barajas

In Terminal T4, Go Natural targets the gap between pastries and fast food with salads, wraps, and juices you can actually board with and not feel wrecked. Most mains sit in the €10–€15 range, with bottled juices and smoothies around €4–€6. It’s airside in the Schengen zone, so you’re fine for intra-EU flights but it’s not worth trekking from T4S during a tight layover.

Menu boards skew toward salads with grains, chicken or tuna, plus paninis and wraps that reheat quickly. Portions run medium; a salad and drink lands close to €17–€20. If you’ve already hit the tortilla at other T4 cafés near gates J and K, this is the place for something green before a 3–4 hour flight. Veggie and lighter options outnumber heavier fried picks by a decent margin.

Service runs counter-style with pre-made items in a chilled case, similar to other Spanish chains. During morning rush around 07:00–09:00 and evening bank from 18:00–20:00, expect 5–10 minutes from queue to walking away with food. Staff usually handle English fine, but the printed boards are in Spanish first, so scan for keywords like “pollo,” “atún,” and “integral” if you’re in a hurry.

Pricing is airport-level but not the worst in T4: think €3–€3.50 for water, €2.50–€3 for coffee, and €4–€5 for small snacks or fruit cups. Card payments and contactless tap both work without drama. Seating nearby is standard terminal chairs and high tables shared with other outlets, so don’t expect to plug in a laptop and camp for 2 hours.

Tip: if your long-haul leaves from the S gates in T4S, eat at Go Natural before taking the shuttle train downstairs; once you cross to T4S, healthy options thin out and prices creep higher by €1–€2 per item.
