This Starbucks sits airside in Terminal 1 at Lyon Saint-Exupéry, handy if you’re flying easyJet, Volotea, or other Schengen carriers from this pier. It’s a standard airport build: counter-service only, no table service, and you carry everything back toward the T1 seating near the gates.

Opening hours track the morning wave, typically from around 05:30 until early evening, aligning with the first and last T1 departures. If you’ve got a 07:00 flight, this is one of the few places in T1 where you can reliably grab a latte and a pastry before boarding starts at around 06:30.

Pricing runs higher than downtown Lyon: expect about €4–€5 for a latte, €3–€4 for drip-style filter coffee, and around €3 for a croissant or muffin. That’s roughly €2–€3 more than a city café, but in line with other airside options in Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 at LYS.

Lines spike 30–45 minutes before Schengen departures from the nearby T1 gates, especially on weekday mornings. With boarding often called 25–30 minutes before departure, you don’t have loads of slack: aim to order at least 40 minutes before your scheduled takeoff if you care about getting your drink in hand without a last‑call sprint.

Practical tip: if the queue here is spilling into the corridor and your gate is already posted, walk toward your exact T1 gate first and check the smaller coffee kiosks nearby; a plain espresso or bottled drink there might save you 10–15 minutes.
