The shuttle runs 24/7 between P4 Eco, the rail station area, and Terminals 1 and 2, with a ride time of around 5 minutes and headways typically in the 10–15 minute range at busier periods. Official materials describe P4 as “close to the train station,” but reviews make clear it’s not a practical walk with luggage like P1 or P3; count the shuttle leg on top of any Ouigo, TGV, or Rhônexpress timings into Lyon Part-Dieu.
Regulars with EVs aim for P4 Eco when they want the reassurance of airport-run charging and don’t want to deal with off-airport valet keys or separate QR codes at third-party providers. They like that both the parking and the shuttle are operated by Lyon Aéroport itself, which reduces the risk of mismatched opening hours or late-night pick-up drama. They also build in 20–25 minutes from parking to security in T1 or T2, which comfortably covers waiting for the next 24/7 shuttle plus the 5-minute ride.
