100 meters from Terminal A, this is LUX’s closest indoor lot
Indoor Car Park A sits right in front of Luxembourg-Findel’s Terminal A, about a 1–2 minute walk to the check-in area. It’s a covered, short-stay facility, so you park under a roof and skip the shuttle hassle completely. This is the go-to if you’re dropping a car for a same-day return or a quick business trip of 1–3 days.
Terminal A and B departures are both walkable from Car Park A in under 5 minutes, with elevators linking the parking levels directly to the terminal-side walkway. Being short-stay, turnover is high and spaces free up often during the day, but it can feel tight around early morning departures between 06:00 and 09:00.
Pricing runs higher than outdoor long-term lots, with the premium going toward the indoor cover and near-terminal location. Expect to pay noticeably more per day here than in the remote car parks, which start at budget rates but require a shuttle. For a three-day trip, many locals still choose Car Park A to avoid waiting 10–15 minutes for buses on return.
Car Park A is a standard barrier-entry system: take a ticket on entry, then pay at the terminal machines before driving out. Payment machines sit just inside the Terminal A arrivals hall and at least one is card-only. Keep your ticket dry; the scanners at LUX sometimes misread crumpled or wet tickets and that slows the exit barrier.
Tip: if you land during peak evening arrivals, around 18:00–20:00, pay at the terminal machine before you walk back. The pay stations right by the parking exits can back up with four or five people, adding an extra 5–10 minutes to getting out.
