Car Park F sits off-site from Luxembourg-Findel (serving terminals A and B) and runs as an outdoor, long-stay option. It’s usually the cheapest official airport parking in the LUX system, especially for trips of 3+ days. You park in open-air spaces, then hop a shuttle to the terminal instead of walking. If you care more about price than being at the terminal door, this is the one to look at first.
Expect a short transfer: the shuttle run from Car Park F to the terminal area is around 5 minutes in light traffic. Because it’s outside the main terminal loop, you don’t mix with the tight traffic in front of A and B. That helps during early-morning bank departures when the drop-off lane clogs. Add the shuttle time into your schedule like you would for an off-airport rental car return.
Pricing at Car Park F is aimed at week-long and multi-week trips, with daily rates under the main terminal garages and closer to what third-party off-airport lots charge in other cities. You pay at airport machines or online through the official LUX parking portal, using your entry ticket or license plate. For short stays under 24 hours, the math starts to favor closer on-airport garages like A or B, so compare before you lock it in.
Car Park F is fully outdoor, so your car sits in the open with no height limits, which helps if you drive an SUV with a roof box or a van that won’t clear covered garages. Spaces are standard size, not the tight “compact” style you see in older garages. Lighting is basic but functional, and lanes are wide enough that late-night exits aren’t stressful after an evening arrival into LUX.
Plan your timing like this: land at LUX, clear passport and baggage in 20–30 minutes on a normal day, then figure another 10–15 minutes for shuttle pickup and the ride back to Car Park F. On departure, be in the lot at least 1 hour 45 minutes before a Schengen flight and 2+ hours before non-Schengen, just to buffer the shuttle plus security at terminals A and B.
