Lounge Two

2 Open · 6 AM - 10 PM ★ 4 1k sqft 40 seats Day pass $25

Rebranded or just obscure, this T2 lounge flies under the radar

In Terminal 2 at Lusaka (LUN), Lounge Two shows up in apps and on Priority Pass, but frequent-flyer reports barely mention it by name, which suggests a recent rebrand or a lounge that regulars still call something else. It sits airside in T2, past security, and serves mainly international departures using that terminal.

The doors open from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM, so early South African and afternoon Ethiopian or Emirates banks are covered. If you do not have airline or Priority Pass access, the posted day-pass price runs about $25, which is at the low end for a paid lounge in the region. Figure your break-even as two drinks plus a light meal compared with buying at a gate café in T2.

Access works through Priority Pass and selected airline business-class or elite invites, marked as an “Airline Lounge” in some systems. Check your boarding pass for T2, not Terminal 1, because inter-terminal walks at Lusaka take more than 10 minutes door to door and you cannot re-clear security quickly during the evening push. Build a 45-minute buffer after immigration and security before you bank on any lounge time.

Food and drink specifics for Lounge Two in Terminal 2 do not show up in current FlyerTalk or Reddit trip reports, unlike the older LUN lounges that still get by-name reviews. Given the 4.0 rating floating in lounge databases, expect basic cold snacks, at least one hot dish rotation, and standard soft drinks, plus beer or wine at minimum. At a $25 door price, this is more about a quieter seat and power outlets than about premium dining.

Seating, Wi‑Fi speed, and shower details are not covered in the 2024 lounge threads, which mostly reference other Lusaka spaces by their legacy branding. That lack of commentary usually means “fine, not special” rather than disaster. Still, treat any nap plans as a bonus, not a guarantee, and keep an eye on boarding screens because T2 gate changes can hit inside the last 30 minutes.

Practical tip: if you have a Priority Pass and a long layover over 2 hours in Terminal 2, check Lounge Two first; if the space looks full or under renovation, you still have time to fall back to gate seating and buy food landside before heading back through security.
