T1’s only shop: News and Convenience Stand

Ten seconds past the single T1 security checkpoint at LNK, News and Convenience Stand is your one stop for last-minute basics. It’s a small walk-up kiosk in the central lobby area, easy to spot between the gates and the exit doors. Think quick grab-and-go, not a mall bookstore.

Expect standard airport pricing: bottled drinks around $3–$4, candy and chips in the $2–$5 range, and a few $10-ish souvenir items with “Lincoln” or “Nebraska” on them. Stock skews toward magazines, newspapers, snacks, and a few travel-sized toiletries like toothpaste and pain relievers. If you forgot headphones or a charger, sometimes they have them, but don’t count on every cable type.

Hours roughly track the flight schedule: open before the first morning departures and usually closing after the last outbound bank, often around 9–10 p.m. on busy days. There’s no seating and no hot food; think of it as a quick pit stop between check-in and your gate. Payment is standard: major credit cards and mobile pay typically work without issue.

Tip: if your flight leaves before 6:30 a.m. or after a late-night delay, grab water and snacks in town first in case the stand opens late or closes early with the reduced schedule.
