P2 Long Stay

Official parking

P2 Long Stay sits directly opposite Terminal 1 at LIM

P2 Long Stay is the official long-term car park right across from Jorge Chávez International Airport’s Terminal 1, so you walk instead of waiting for a shuttle. It’s signed as “P2” on the airport access road, and you enter through the same barrier system used by the other official lots.

This lot is built for trips longer than 24 hours, with daily rates that run lower than the short-stay areas in P1. You take a ticket at entry, keep it with you, and pay at the automatic machines or manned booths before you drive out. Prices are posted at the entrance and on the pay stations, so check the current daily rate before pulling through the gate.

P2 Long Stay is open 24/7, matching the round-the-clock flight schedule at LIM. The walk to Terminal 1 check-in usually runs about 5–8 minutes depending on where you find a space. The route is on marked pedestrian paths that follow the main access road toward the departures area.

This is an open-air surface lot, so every space is uncovered and exposed to Lima’s coastal sun and humidity. Rows are numbered, and some travelers drop a quick photo of the nearest row sign on their phone so they don’t lose the car after a late-night arrival. Lighting runs across the lot, which helps with early-morning departures and midnight returns.

There’s standard CCTV coverage as part of the official airport parking network, but you still lock doors, remove valuables, and avoid leaving luggage visible in the cabin. If you’re parking for more than a week, consider a windshield sunshade and a quick battery check before your trip. Final tip: arrive at least 30–40 minutes earlier than usual on peak holiday weekends, as P2 can fill faster than the closer short-stay areas.
