Economy Lot runs as the budget option at LIM

This Economy Lot serves Terminal 1 at Jorge Chávez International Airport and targets longer stays at a lower daily rate than the main terminal-front parking. It’s an uncovered surface lot, so your car sits outside in Lima’s coastal weather, but you save compared with the premium zones right beside departures.

The lot sits within easy walking distance of Terminal 1 check-in, usually under 10 minutes on foot depending on your airline counter. That’s still close enough that you don’t need a separate shuttle schedule in your mental math, which helps if your flight leaves around tight early-morning banks between 05:00 and 08:00.

Economy pricing is geared to multi-day trips, so it often pencils out once you cross two or three calendar days compared with taxis both ways from central Lima or Miraflores. If you’re parking for a full week, the total typically undercuts using ride-hail for both legs, especially during peak traffic hours on Avenida Elmer Faucett.

Security here matches the rest of the official airport parking, with controlled entry, tickets tied to your licence plate, and staff on duty during airport operating hours. It’s not a high-end garage, but it’s more predictable than leaving your car in an off-site neighborhood lot with no connection to the Jorge Chávez operator.

Tip: build at least a 20-minute buffer before check-in cutoff to park, walk from the Economy Lot to Terminal 1, and handle any ticket payment queue near the exit on your way out.
