The Curator Bar & Dining

T3

The only steak and ale pie in Heathrow T3 sits at The Curator

In Terminal T3, The Curator Bar & Dining is one of the few spots where the menu stretches past fries and wings into full plates: open sandwiches, burgers, salads, pizzas, and British staples like steak and ale pie. It’s airside, so you’re safe once you’re through security, and it works for a proper meal before long-haul flights on carriers like American, Qantas, or Japan Airlines out of T3.

The airport’s own T3 guide flags The Curator for its extensive drink list, so expect a stronger focus on beer, wine, and spirits than you get at the generic cafés near gates 20–30. Food runs pub-style: think a burger and a drink adding up to central-London-gastropub prices rather than fast-food pricing. If you want something substantial at LHR without walking over to another terminal like T2 or T5, this is one of the more serious sit-down options in T3.

Menu highlights: the steak and ale pie if you want one last British dish before you board, pizza or burgers if you need something reliable and filling, and salads or open sandwiches if you’ve got a tight connection and a 30-minute sit-down window. Compared with the basic bar snacks scattered through T3, Curator’s range of open sandwiches, burgers, salads, pizzas, and British classics gives you more to work with if you’re on a 7–12 hour flight after.

There’s no clear data on exact opening hours, but T3 food outlets usually track peak bank times and start early for the morning transatlantic push. Build in at least 45–60 minutes between reaching the T3 security exit and your gate if you want a sit-down meal here, especially for widebody departures to the US and Asia. Tip: check your gate on the screens near security before you commit; if you’re in one of the far piers, eat first at The Curator, then walk out once you’re under 40 minutes to boarding.
