T5

T5’s main Five Guys sits landside, before security

This Five Guys is in Heathrow Terminal T5, before security, so it works best if you’re checking in early or meeting someone. It’s the standard UK Five Guys setup: counter ordering, burgers, hot dogs, fries, and shakes, plus free toppings. There’s no published airport-specific opening time, but it usually tracks broader terminal hours, starting early morning and running into late evening along with the main T5 departures level.

Food is the familiar Five Guys formula: a little cheeseburger still comes with one patty, the regular cheeseburger with two, and fries come in regular or large, cooked in peanut oil. Prices sit in typical airport territory, higher than high street but not wildly above central London branches. Expect to pay roughly high-teens GBP for a burger, fries, and a drink once you add toppings and a soft drink refill.

Seating is standard fast-food style with red-and-white branding, set on the public side of Terminal 5’s check-in level. That landside location means you can eat here even if you’re not flying, or if you’ve arrived into T5 and your ride is running late. It’s also workable as a “pre-security” meal if you don’t trust the queues; just leave enough buffer to get through T5 screening, which can easily hit 20–30 minutes at busy times.

Five Guys in T5 handles a steady stream of BA passengers, families, and staff, so queues can build at normal meal times. Orders come out reasonably fast, but burgers are cooked to order, so figure 10–15 minutes from payment to food in hand when it’s busy. If your flight departs from the T5B or T5C satellite gates, remember you still need the transit train ride after security, which can add another 10 minutes.

Tip: if you’re tight on time, ask for everything to go and carry the brown bag through security; just finish any open drink before the T5 liquid checks.
