Gate-side pub option in Heathrow T4

Inside London Heathrow T4 after security, Co-Pilots Bar and Kitchen fills the “last meal in London” slot for anyone flying out of the SkyTeam-heavy terminal. It runs as a classic airport pub with a full bar, sit-down tables, and TV screens tuned to news or sport. You’ll see standard British pub plates alongside burgers and lighter bites, so it works for a quick pint or a full meal before long-haul.

Food leans typical UK airport pub: think fish and chips, burgers, and a chicken or veggie option, with mains usually sitting in the £14–£22 band at similar LHR venues. Drink prices track the rest of Heathrow, so assume £6–£7 for a draft beer and more for cocktails or wine by the glass. It’s not set up as a grab-and-go spot; plan on a sit-down pace that fits a 60–90 minute pre-flight window, especially in evening peaks when T4 long-hauls depart.

Seating spreads along the concourse in T4, so you’re eating within sight of departure boards rather than in a closed room. That makes it easy to clock your gate calls but also means noise from the terminal never really drops. Staff juggle bar and table service; at busy times, ordering directly at the bar can shave a few minutes off your wait. Power outlets are limited compared with newer concepts in T2 and T5, so charge your phone at the gate if you need a full battery.

There’s no published opening schedule, but pubs in T4 typically pour coffee by 05:00 and stay open through the late-night wave of flights after 21:00. If your connection in T4 is under 45 minutes, this isn’t the stop; grab a snack from a kiosk closer to your gate instead. Tip: if you want food out quickly, ask which dishes the kitchen is pushing for “10–15 minutes” and stick to those rather than the heavier mains.
