T3’s No1 Lounge sits just past security opposite Gate 13
You find No1 Lounge on the mezzanine level above the main Terminal 3 departure area, signed near Gate 13. It’s airside, so you need to clear security first in T3 before heading up the escalator. Figure 3–5 minutes’ walk from most central T3 gates if you’re not stopping in shops.
No1 Lounge T3 usually opens early morning in time for the first long‑hauls and runs through the late‑evening bank of departures; check your date, but assume roughly 04:30 to 22:00 as a working range. It sits in the same cluster as the Club Aspire and Centurion lounges, so if it looks packed, you can compare door queues within about 30 seconds.
Access is for Terminal 3 passengers only, with same‑day boarding passes out of T3 required at the desk. Entry works via lounge memberships like Priority Pass and DragonPass, plus selected airline invitations, and they also sell day passes online and at the door. Turn‑up pricing usually lands in the £38–£45 range per person for up to 3 hours.
Food runs on a mix of small buffet items and an at‑table menu, with mains like pasta, curry, or burgers typically in the £10–£15 value if you compare to terminal prices. Portions skew modest, so many people treat it as one proper meal plus a snack before a 7–12 hour long‑haul. Coffee machines are self‑serve, and the bar handles beer, wine, and basic spirits within the entry fee.
Wi‑Fi is free with the standard Heathrow login, and power sockets line many of the window seats facing the T3 stands and taxiways. Seating splits into bar stools, armchairs, and a quieter section toward the back right as you enter. If you care about views, aim for the row along the glass where you can usually see A380s and 777s parked up on nearby gates.
Showers are limited in number, so during the 06:00–09:00 wave you may wait 20–30 minutes. Ask for a shower slot as soon as you check in; staff hold your boarding pass and call names over the internal speakers. Towels and basic toiletries come included, so you only need your own toothbrush or razor if you’re picky.
Plan on arriving about 2.5 hours before departure if you want a sit‑down meal, a shower, and 30–40 minutes of work time without clock‑watching.
