T4’s Air France Lounge sits near the SkyTeam gates
This Air France Lounge is in London Heathrow Terminal 4, airside, a short walk from most SkyTeam long-haul gates. It mainly serves Air France and KLM departures but you can access it from any T4 gate if your ticket or status qualifies. Check your boarding pass first; staff here stick closely to the SkyTeam and partner rules.
Heathrow T4 handles carriers like Air France, KLM and Saudia, so the lounge crowd skews international and peak times cluster around late-morning and evening banks. Build a 20–30 minute buffer before boarding if you want time for a quick drink and a seat. The space is compact compared with T3’s big lounges, so it fills fast when a couple of A330s or 777s leave close together.
The lounge sits airside after T4 security, so you need to clear UK exit checks and liquids screening before you can enter. If you are connecting from T2 or T3, factor in the transfer bus and fresh security screening; count on at least 45 minutes door to door before you even reach the T4 lounge desk. Signs for airline lounges appear just past the main duty-free area, with Air France listed under SkyTeam.
Food here runs on the standard SkyTeam lounge script: cold cuts, cheese, simple pastries, and at least one hot option during meal periods. Expect self-serve snacks more than full meals. Drinks usually include house spirits, wine, and beer, with soft drinks in fridges along the wall. If you want a proper restaurant plate, do that in the T4 concourse and treat the lounge as a quieter place for a coffee and power outlet.
Seating splits into small clusters with low chairs, a few bar-height spots, and some work tables, all within Wi‑Fi range. Power outlets sit along walls and under some bench seating, so walk a lap before committing to a chair. Restrooms are inside the lounge, cutting down on gate-area traffic, but there’s no guarantee of showers being open on every visit, so don’t bank on a pre-flight wash if you have a tight schedule.
Tip: T4 security can back up in the morning, so be in the terminal at least 2 hours before an Air France or KLM flight if you want even 30–40 minutes in this lounge.
