Short Term Parking at Lafayette Regional Airport sits directly next to the terminal, so you’re on the sidewalk in roughly a 5-minute walk from your car. This is the lot you use when the priority is speed over savings, like quick business trips or walking someone inside to the LFT check-in desks.

The rate is a flat $15.00 per day, which adds up fast for week-long trips but makes sense for 1–2 nights or a same-day turnaround. It’s signed clearly as Short Term Parking, so you don’t accidentally roll into a long-stay section thinking it’s cheaper for a brief stop.

This is a true short stay setup, not an hourly garage with layers of ramps: surface lot, pull in, park, and you’re at the single small terminal entrance in a few minutes. For quick goodbyes or meeting an arrival at the baggage claim doors, paying the higher per-day rate often beats circling the pickup lane.

There’s no shuttle here because you don’t need one at LFT distances: park, grab your bag, and you’re at security in about 5 minutes on foot. If you’re trying to minimize walking for someone with limited mobility, this is the closest standard parking to the main doors.
