Terminal B location means Souvenir Shop Leipzig is on most LEJ paths
Souvenir Shop Leipzig sits airside in Terminal B, so you pass it on the way to many Schengen gates. Figure 5–10 minutes’ walk from the Zentralterminal check-in area once you clear security and turn toward B. It’s a standard small-airport gift shop: think last-minute presents more than deep shopping session.
You’ll find the usual Leipzig and Saxony themes here: printed T-shirts with “Leipzig” logos, fridge magnets under €5, and gift mugs in the €8–€12 range. Shelves also carry German chocolate brands and some regional sweets, which work as quick office gifts if you forgot to shop in town. Expect airport markup over city prices, but not outrageous for a medium-size German airport.
The shop keeps roughly the same schedule as Terminal B departures, opening early morning for the first flights and closing after the last evening wave. If you land late into LEJ and connect through B, you usually still get a chance to duck in before close, but don’t count on it after 22:00. Card payments are standard, and contactless tap works even for small items like postcards and keychains.
Use this place for top-up items: extra postcard stamps, one more magnet for someone you forgot, or an easy candy box to share on the plane. If you care about price, buy bigger gifts in Leipzig city and use Souvenir Shop Leipzig as the backup plan.
