Gate-side magazines and snacks in Terminal B

Relay sits airside in Terminal B, so you’re past security before you see it. Think standard airport newsstand: German and international magazines, paperbacks, a wall of drinks, and grab-and-go snacks. It’s one of the few spots in Leipzig/Halle where you can still grab a physical newspaper right before boarding.

Hours track typical flight banks in the Zentralterminal and B, roughly early morning through the last departures, but it can close earlier on quiet evenings. Expect airport pricing: bottled water, soft drinks, and candy bars run higher than in Leipzig city, and simple souvenirs like keychains and mugs are priced accordingly.

Relay in Terminal B is mainly for quick top-ups: phone chargers, basic cables, and travel adapters sit near the cash desk. You’ll also find postcards and small Leipzig/Halle souvenirs if you need something under €10 at the last minute. Pre-packaged sandwiches and pastries are fine for short hops; for a proper meal, use the Zentralterminal food options first.

Stock can run low later in the day on high-traffic routes to hubs like Frankfurt and Munich, especially on water and sandwiches. If you care about magazine choice or want a specific snack brand, go earlier in the day. Tip: swing by right after security in Terminal B, grab what you need in one pass, then head straight to your gate.
