Regional Products Shop

B

Terminal B has a small Regional Products Shop worth a quick lap

This shop sits airside in Terminal B, an easy stop if your gate is in the same concourse and you’ve got 10 spare minutes. It leans on Saxony and Central Germany goods: local jams, mustards, honey, and gift-packaged sausages you can actually fit in a cabin bag. Most food items run under €10, with a few nicer bottles and gift boxes creeping into the €15–€25 range.

You’ll see shelves of German wines and regional spirits, plus branded Leipzig/Halle souvenirs like mugs, keychains, and fridge magnets. Snacks skew toward packaged items that survive a flight: chocolates, cookies, and nut mixes in sealed bags. Payment is standard for Germany: cards and cash both accepted, and prices are clearly labeled so you’re not guessing at the till.

Stock turnover at LEJ isn’t fast, so expect a tight but useful mix rather than a huge shop. If you want something clearly local, aim for labeled products from Saxony or Saxony-Anhalt; those typically sit on a dedicated section near the center shelves. Figure on 5–15 minutes to browse, pay, and walk back to most B-gates.

Practical tip: do liquids last. Grab any wine, beer, or spirits from the Regional Products Shop after security in Terminal B so you don’t lose it at screening, and keep the sealed bag and receipt handy for any EU transfer checks.
