Segafredo Espresso Bar

B

Gate-side caffeine fix in Terminal B

Right in Terminal B at Leipzig/Halle, Segafredo Espresso Bar is the obvious coffee stop once you’re through security. It sits in the main passenger flow, so you see it on the way to most B-gates. Seating is limited to a few bar stools and nearby tables, so think quick stop, not long sit-down session.

Segafredo runs typical airport hours, roughly from early morning first departures to early evening, tracking the Terminal B schedule. Morning traffic around 06:00–09:00 can stack up, especially on weekdays when business flights leave. Outside those peaks, you usually get served within a few minutes.

Expect standard espresso-bar pricing: a simple espresso or macchiato lands around a few euros, with cappuccino and latte a bit higher, and pastries adding another €2–€4. You pay at the counter and wait nearby; there’s no table service. They take cards and contactless, useful if you’re moving through Germany on a connection without local cash.

Coffee quality is classic Segafredo: consistent, slightly dark roast, fine if you just want caffeine before a flight from Terminal B. If you care about flavor more than speed, stick to straight espresso or cappuccino rather than the larger milk drinks, which can run a bit weak. Cold drinks and soft drinks sit in the fridge if you just want something to grab and go to your gate.

Food options are basic: pre-made sandwiches, simple bakery items, and wrapped snacks at the counter. It works for a quick bite if you land in the Zentralterminal, head over to B, and realize you skipped breakfast. For a smoother stop, plan 10–15 minutes here before boarding starts, especially in the morning rush.
