Terminal B duty-free means you’re already past security
In Terminal B, Duty-Free-Shop "All Yours Leipzig Halle" sits post-security, so you can shop after passport checks without clock-watching at the Zentralterminal. It operates "entsprechend dem Flugplan geöffnet," which in practice means it opens for the first departures and winds down once the last flights for that pier are gone.
This is a mid-range ($$) duty-free, not a bargain basement outlet, so expect standard airport pricing on liquor and perfume rather than deep discount warehouse deals. You’ll see the usual duty-free suspects: spirits lined up by brand and size, wall-length fragrance shelves, and a smaller section of cosmetics and skincare that covers the main European labels, not every niche name.
Tobacco and spirits usually give the clearest value, especially on liter bottles compared with the local shops in Leipzig or Halle, while beauty and skincare prices often sit close to German high-street levels. If you’re connecting through Terminal B with only 20–30 minutes before boarding, you can still grab a boxed bottle or carton from the front displays without having to weave deep into the shop.
Snacks and small gifts take up a section too, with branded chocolate, sweets, and travel-sized snack packs that work as last-minute office gifts when you land. You’ll also find a limited run of LEJ-branded souvenirs and Germany-focused items, but this isn’t a full souvenir megastore like you might see at FRA or MUC.
One practical tip: if you’re buying liquids over 100 ml and have another security check ahead (for example, a non-Schengen connection after leaving the Schengen area), ask staff at "All Yours Leipzig Halle" in Terminal B for STEB security bags so your duty-free survives the next screening.
