Level 1 of Terminal 3 is where Uber and Lyft load
Ride Share Pickup Terminal 3 sits on Level 1, outside Doors 52–54 on the east end of Harry Reid International Airport (LAS). It serves Uber and Lyft rides from Terminal 3 only, covering both domestic and international arrivals handled in this building. Follow the purple “Ride Share” signs from baggage claim; walking time is usually 3–6 minutes from most carousels.
Terminal 3 at LAS operates 24/7, and Uber and Lyft drivers can pick up at any hour, though wait times spike in the 10 p.m.–1 a.m. window when late West Coast flights arrive. Pricing swings with surge; base airport trips into the Strip often run in the $15–$30 range and downtown in the $20–$35 range, but surge can double that during big events or Friday nights. The pickup zone is outdoors and uncovered, so plan for 100°F-plus summer heat or occasional winter wind.
This area is landside, after baggage claim, so no boarding pass is needed once you reach Level 1. From international arrivals in Terminal 3, you exit customs on Level 2, then take the escalator or elevator down one level to access the rideshare zone. From domestic baggage claim, you’re already on Level 1; walk toward Doors 52–54 along the far east side of the hall, passing the rental car and shuttle counters on your left.
Order your Uber or Lyft only after you reach the signed pickup lanes labeled with letters (A, B, C, etc.), since drivers at LAS move through the loop quickly and the app often pins the general terminal, not your exact door. The app will show the lettered zone; double-check the letter posted on the overhead signs in the curb area. Typical pickup times range from 3–10 minutes, but can stretch to 15–20 minutes after large bank arrivals.
One more practical tip: if surge pricing looks ugly at Door 52 in Terminal 3, open both Uber and Lyft apps and compare; a $28 quote on one app can drop to $16 on the other for the same Strip hotel within the same five-minute window.
