Pickup at Terminal 1, Strip drop-offs at major resorts
Deuce on the Strip runs 24/7 and links Harry Reid Terminal 1 (T1) with the Las Vegas Strip and Downtown. This is an RTC double-decker bus, not a private shuttle, and it stops at signed “Deuce” stops roughly every 10–15 minutes during most of the day. If you land at Terminal 3 (T3), you first ride the free inter-terminal shuttle to T1 to catch it.
A 2-hour pass is usually around $6, a 24-hour pass about $8, and a 3-day pass around $20; you buy these on the rideRTC app or at ticket machines before boarding. Fares are the same for Strip and Downtown segments. You board through the front door at the T1 Ground Transportation area and tap or show your ticket to the driver before finding a seat.
From Terminal 1, walk to Level 0 Ground Transportation, then follow signs for public buses and look for the RTC stop that lists Deuce on the Strip by name and route. The bus does not pull up to Terminal 3 at all, so T3 passengers need around 10–15 extra minutes to transfer by the free shuttle to T1. Total ride time from T1 to mid-Strip stops like Bellagio or Paris can run 25–40 minutes depending on traffic.
The Deuce stops at big Strip hotels and landmarks such as Mandalay Bay, MGM Grand, Bellagio, Caesars Palace, and Fremont Street in Downtown. Stops are clearly marked with blue RTC signs that show “DEUCE” and route information. Late at night, headways can stretch closer to 20 minutes, and congestion around Tropicana Avenue or Flamingo Road can easily add another 10 minutes to your trip.
Tickets are checked often, and fines for riding without a valid pass can exceed $100, so buy or activate your pass before boarding. Luggage technically rides with you, and larger suitcases can be awkward on busy evening runs, especially on the upper deck stairs. The lower level tends to fill first from T1, so consider waiting one more bus if you see people standing by the door with large bags.
Practical tip: If you arrive at LAS after 10 p.m., budget at least 60 minutes from landing at T3 to reaching a mid-Strip stop on the Deuce, including the shuttle to T1, ticket purchase, and possible late-night traffic.
