Every 5 minutes, shuttles run from Terminals 1 and 3

The Rental Car Center Shuttle is the only way to reach the off-site LAS Rental Car Center at 7135 Gilespie Street. Shuttles pick up from the ground transportation level at Terminal 1 (outside doors 10 and 11) and Terminal 3 (outside door 51), and run roughly every 5 minutes 24 hours a day.

The ride from either terminal to the Rental Car Center takes about 7–10 minutes, depending on traffic on Gilespie Street and George Crockett Road. The shuttle is free, operated by the airport, and drops you directly at the front entrance of the multi-level rental car facility that hosts more than 10 rental brands.

At Terminal 1, follow signs for “Ground Transportation / Rental Car Shuttle” down to Level 1 and look for the blue-and-white buses lined up near doors 10–11. At Terminal 3, head to Level 0 and exit door 51; the same style buses stop at the signed “Rental Car Shuttle” island. Both pickup areas sit next to the taxi and rideshare zones, so double-check the shuttle branding before boarding.

Inside the shuttle, luggage racks line the center section and there are roughly 20–30 seats, but during peak arrival banks (around 10:00–13:00 and 20:00–23:00) it can be standing-room only. If you have oversized items like golf bags or ski bags, load them onto the lower racks first so they don’t slide when the bus takes the I-215 on-ramp curve.

On the way back, shuttles from the Rental Car Center clearly label “Terminal 1” or “Terminal 3” on the front and side signs. The ride still runs 7–10 minutes, but build at least a 30-minute buffer from rental car return to your airline check-in time, plus TSA time. Terminal 1 serves airlines like Southwest, Spirit, and Frontier; Terminal 3 handles international flights and carriers like Delta, United, and JetBlue.

One last tip: if your group is larger than 4 people, send one driver ahead on the shuttle to pull the car while the rest wait for bags at baggage claim. That move can cut 20 minutes off your curb-to-car time during busy Friday and Sunday nights.
