Beidoun

Gate-side pricing, duty free vibes

Right after security in Terminal 1, Beidoun runs like a compact duty free, stacked with perfume, cosmetics, watches, bags, sweets and souvenir merch in one space. You’ll see the logo again in other parts of KWI, but the T1 branch is the most useful if your flight leaves from the older gates and you forgot a gift.

Expect mid-range to premium pricing: designer fragrances and cosmetics sit close to city-store tags, while boxed chocolates and dates often come in multi-pack deals around 5–15 KWD. Stock skews toward Gulf-region favorites, so it’s easy to grab something recognisably “Kuwait” instead of a generic airport trinket.

Hours generally track flight banks, with Beidoun open across late-night and early-morning departures that KWI is known for, especially the 01:00–05:00 wave. That helps if you land from a long-haul and need a quick present before an onward regional hop from Terminal 1.

Merch leans heavy on branded sweets, logo mugs, keychains, magnets and small leather items, all sized to fit easily in a cabin bag. If you’re tight on space and already checked luggage at Terminal 4 or 5, this is one of the few spots airside in T1 where you can still pick up something under 500g that doesn’t feel like a last-minute gas-station buy.

Tip: Prices on international brands here and in the main duty free often match, so do a quick lap and compare perfume or cosmetics before dropping 30+ KWD on a single item.
