Botejyu

T1 $$$$

¥3,400 in food credit beats lounge snacks every time

Inside T1’s domestic post-security area, Botejyu works as a full sit-down Priority Pass spot: show your card plus a same-day domestic T1 boarding pass and you get up to ¥3,400 off food and drinks per flight. It’s a normal restaurant first, lounge substitute second, which means proper hot plates instead of crackers and coffee.

Botejyu sits in the domestic restricted zone of Terminal 1, so it’s useless if you’re on an international flight or flying out of T2/Peach. Prices land in the ¥1,200–¥2,000 range for mains, putting it in the mid-tier ($$). With Priority Pass, a full okonomiyaki plus a beer usually comes in at or just over the allowance, so you might only pay a few extra yen.

The move here is okonomiyaki: a standard pork or mixed version runs around ¥1,300–¥1,800, and you can throw in a drink to chew through the ¥3,400 credit. Portion sizes are solid for a short domestic hop. Drinks include beer and soft drinks, so you can run a quick pre-flight beer-and-carb stop without touching your wallet much.

Regulars with Priority Pass time their arrival to sit down about 45–60 minutes before boarding, order an okonomiyaki set and a drink, and basically treat Botejyu as their domestic lounge at KIX. Some skip airline lounges altogether and come straight here, since the credit covers a full cooked meal instead of light bites.

Watch out for the fine print: the Priority Pass deal is domestic T1 only, no exceptions for international legs or anybody leaving from Terminal 2. Staff also check your same-day boarding pass, so you can’t double-dip. Tip: if your bill comes in under ¥3,400, add a side or another drink instead of leaving free money on the table.
