Terminal 2 Parking

Short stay

2,800 yen per day gets you on-airport parking right by T2

Terminal 2 Parking at Kansai (the P5/P6 lots) sits next to the low-cost carrier terminal, priced on the standard KIX tariff with a 24-hour cap of about 2,800 yen. It’s on-airport, short-stay focused, and aimed at T2 users who don’t need a direct bridge into the building.

P5 and P6 are the official lots KIX assigns to Terminal 2, separate from the P1–P4 garages that feed T1. You park surface-level, then use the short shuttle or on-foot transfer route into the T2 complex, instead of walking straight from a garage into the terminal like you can from P1/P2 to T1.

Pricing runs in 30-minute increments with a daily max around 2,800 yen, lined up with other on-airport options so LCC passengers don’t have to hunt off-site to keep costs down. For a 3-day trip, budget roughly 8,000–8,500 yen, still under what many city-center car parks would charge for the same period.

Watch out for the approach: local drivers say signs for P5/P6 are easier to miss than the big, obvious boards for P1/P2, and it’s common to see last-second lane changes near the T2 split. If you’re new to KIX, slow down a bit earlier than the navigation app suggests and look specifically for “T2 / P5 / P6” overhead.

Regulars who fly Peach or other LCCs sometimes choose the T1 garages instead, parking in P1 or P2 and then riding the free shuttle bus over to T2 to get clearer signage and covered access. If you prefer to keep it simple, just aim straight for P5/P6 and follow the T2 icons from the expressway turnoff.

Tip: screenshot the KIX parking map for P5/P6 before you drive; having the lot numbers and T2 fork in front of you makes that last 1–2 km much less stressful.
