Gate-side in Terminal 1, this is one of JMK’s few proper sit-down spots
Tashba sits airside in Terminal 1 at Mykonos Airport, a short walk from the main domestic and Schengen gates. It’s a small restaurant setup, not just a coffee counter, so you can actually sit at a table before your Aegean or Sky Express flight. Expect typical Greek-island pricing: a simple snack and drink easily hits €12–€18, and a proper meal can run closer to €20–€25.
The menu leans on Greek standards and grilled items, with salads, sandwiches, and bigger plates you can finish in 25–30 minutes. Service timing reportedly tracks with island pace, so don’t drop in if boarding for a mid-day departure in 20 minutes. Beer and wine are available by the glass, which helps if your flight to Athens or Santorini is delayed and you’re already through security.
Tashba opens early enough to catch the morning wave of departures from Terminal 1 and usually runs until the last evening flights, roughly 06:00–22:00 in peak season. Coffee quality sits above the basic vending-style stands landside, and you can get a proper espresso or cappuccino instead of just a quick filter coffee. Expect card payments to be the norm; keep a €5–€10 note handy in case the card terminals glitch.
Lines spike before the mid-morning and late-afternoon bank of flights, especially when three or four departures crowd the small Terminal 1 gate area. Build 45–60 minutes between security and boarding if you want a sit-down meal here without clock-watching. Fast tip: grab a table first, then order, so you’re not hunting for seats with a tray in hand when a flight to Athens dumps a full load into the gate area.
