The Daily Garage at Jacksonville International Airport sits just a 3-minute walk from the Main terminal, so you roll your bag straight to check-in with no bus stops, no waiting in a lane for a van. It is structured garage parking, not a surface lot, which matters in August Florida sun and during the 5 p.m. thunderstorms that roll through JAX more often than you think.

Pricing is simple after day one: the Daily Garage runs $22 per day, with the first calendar day clocking in at $2 per 30 minutes until you hit that same $22 cap. That makes it a clear step down from Hourly Garage rates, but still aimed at short trips, quick overnights, or 2–3 day runs where time saved at the terminal is worth more than what you’d keep in Economy. Keep your entry ticket handy; you’ll need it at the Parking Plaza pay lanes.

Garage clearance is posted at 7 feet, and that number matters if you drive a taller SUV or truck with a roof box or bike rack. People with lifted pickups, Sprinter-style vans, or cargo pods on crossbars have reported problems at other airports with similar limits, so if you’re anywhere near that 7' mark, measure before you leave the driveway instead of finding out at the Daily Garage entrance with cars stacking up behind you.

Disabled veterans with DV license plates park here free if they follow the airport’s process: pull a regular ticket on entry, then exit through Lane 1 at the Parking Plaza and show ID to the attendant. Regular JAX flyers with DV plates skip Valet and Economy altogether because the DV free-parking policy applies in the Daily Garage but not in Valet, turning that $22 per day sticker price into the best-value option on the property if you qualify.

What regulars do: frequent business travelers on 1–3 day trips treat the Daily Garage as the set-it-and-forget-it choice, timing it so they’re locking the car 30–40 minutes before boarding from the Main terminal. One last tip: if you’re landing late (after 10 p.m.) and want a quicker exit, park a level or two up near the stairwells that face the terminal so you can spot your car immediately on the walk back.
