P2 sits in the central parking complex by Terminal T

P2 Parking is one of the core on-airport garages at Osaka Itami (ITM), built into the central complex serving Terminal T. It shares the same official tariff as P1, but which one makes more sense depends on which side of the terminal you enter. The entire North/South parking complex, including P2, totals 3,054 spaces, so you’re usually looking at structured, multi-level parking rather than open lots.

Pricing is hourly with a daily cap: in non-peak periods it’s ¥300 per hour, capped at ¥2,500 for the first 24 hours, then ¥1,800 for each additional 24-hour block. During peak periods, the rate jumps to ¥400 per hour, with a higher cap of ¥3,400 for the first 24 hours and ¥2,400 per day after that. That means a 3-hour non-peak stop runs ¥900, while a 26-hour stay billed in non-peak tops out at ¥4,300 total.

P2 works best as short-stay parking for Terminal T drop-offs, pick-ups, and overnight trips under a few days. Since the tariff is identical to other on-airport options, the decision is mostly about walking distance from your preferred check-in area rather than cost. The complex is directly connected to the terminal area, so you stay on airport property the whole time and avoid any shuttle transfers or off-site detours.

There’s no published space count specific to P2, only the 3,054-space figure for the combined North and South structures, so it can be harder to guess how fast it fills on holiday peaks. Peak-rate caps at ¥3,400 for the first 24 hours add up quickly during Golden Week or New Year. One practical move: check your airline’s check-in island on the terminal map first, then choose between P1 and P2 based on the closer walkway rather than driving around twice.
