ANA’s reserved parking at ITM is where the EV plugs are
Most of the clearly listed EV charging at Osaka Itami (ITM) sits in the reserved parking area linked to ANA’s online parking reservation service, right next to Terminal T. If you fly ANA and hold ANA Mileage Club status, this is the most predictable way to leave the car plugged in on-airport and come back to at least some charge.
On the public side, the official parking map shows EV charge points in both the South Parking Structure and the North Parking Structures, again beside the terminal building. The airport site does not publish connector types, power output, or an exact bay count, so assume a small cluster of spaces in each structure rather than a big field of chargers.
The ANA-linked reserved section with EV spots is bookable online through the ANA Itami parking page, and regulars who care about charging often pre-book there instead of driving up. That reserved area is still on-airport, within a few minutes’ walk of check-in counters for domestic ANA flights in Terminal T.
Pricing follows the standard ITM car park day rates (the airport lists caps by 24‑hour period in yen), with EV bays charged at the same parking fee as regular spaces. There’s no clear mention of a separate kWh fee or idle penalty on the English site, so budget as you would for normal on-terminal parking and treat the charge as a bonus rather than paid fast charging.
Practical tip: if you absolutely need to depart with, say, 60–70% battery after a three‑day trip, lock in the ANA reserved parking with EV outlets online a few days ahead instead of gambling on an unreserved EV bay in the South or North structures.
