Economy off-site parking for ITM’s Terminal T flyers
The Off-site Discount Lot serves Osaka Itami International Airport (ITM) passengers using Terminal T and targets budget parking with economy rates lower than the on-airport garages. It operates as long-term parking, making it a better fit for trips longer than 24 hours than the main terminal lots. You park outside the main airport footprint and then transfer in, instead of driving directly into the terminal structure.
This is an off-site economy option, so plan extra time for the shuttle connection to Terminal T. Most third-party discount lots at Japanese airports run shuttles in 10–20 minute intervals, but you should pad at least 30 minutes on top of your normal arrival time at Itami. Pricing is set on a daily basis rather than hourly, which generally works out cheaper than the ITM on-airport car parks once you cross the one-day mark.
Because the Off-site Discount Lot is not on the official terminal roadway, you avoid the higher drive-up rates at the ITM on-site garages and rooftop decks. These off-site facilities usually keep your car in open-air surface parking rather than a multi-story structure, and that’s a trade-off for the lower daily cost. The lot size is typically smaller than the main terminal parking, so advance reservation through the provider’s website or phone line is often the norm.
The lot sits off airport grounds, so you cannot walk to Terminal T; the shuttle is mandatory for the final 1–3 km, depending on which operator you book. Most shuttles drop at the main entrance for domestic departures, then loop to arrivals, so pay attention to the stop name when you board. If you land late into ITM, confirm the shuttle’s last departure time in writing before you park.
Tip: aim to reach the Off-site Discount Lot at least 90 minutes before a domestic ITM departure and 2 hours before an international connection via another airport, giving you 30 minutes for the shuttle and 60–90 minutes for check-in and security at Terminal T.
