EV Charging Stations

Six EV charging stations sit directly next to the Main Terminal.

These EV charging stations are in the parking area right next to the Wichita Dwight D. Eisenhower National Airport Main Terminal, so you walk only a few minutes from your car to check-in. That “next to terminal” spot saves time compared with remote or off-site parking lots that require a shuttle ride.

The chargers are in the same on-site parking complex used for regular public parking by ICT passengers, not in a separate off-airport facility. That means one stop: park, plug in, lock up, and roll your bag straight toward the Main Terminal doors.

These stations work best for trips that match the airport’s standard parking patterns: short business runs of one to three days and long-weekend leisure trips. If your stay stretches past a week, think about battery levels and fees the same way you think about leaving a car in long-term parking for 7–10 days.

The EV stalls sit with standard parking next to the Main Terminal, so you follow the same entry route, ticket system, and payment process as gas vehicles. You pay the posted on-site parking rates for ICT; the only difference is you park in a marked EV bay instead of a regular space.

Most drivers plug in on arrival, then move the car when they return, so each session lines up with a single flight itinerary. That timing keeps things simple: you park once next to the Main Terminal, fly, then head straight back to your car and unplug at the end of the trip.

Tip: aim to arrive a little early so you have time to circle the row next to the Main Terminal in case all six EV spots are full and you need to switch to a regular space.
