Marked accessible spaces sit closest to the Main Terminal doors
Accessible Parking at Wichita Dwight D. Eisenhower National Airport sits in the standard airport parking areas, but the marked ADA spaces are positioned near the Main Terminal entrances. That cut in walking distance matters when you are loading mobility devices, luggage, or traveling with someone who moves slowly.
These accessible spaces sit on the same side as the Main Terminal ticketing counters, so you do not have to cross extra lanes of traffic to reach check-in. Look for the blue ADA signs as you enter the airport road system and follow them toward the closest section to the terminal doors.
Accessible Parking at ICT follows the same hourly and daily rates as the surrounding lot section, so there is no special pricing tier to calculate. Payment runs through the regular lot exit lanes, using the same ticket or card system posted at the lot entry.
Marked ADA stalls in the Main Terminal lots include the wider striping that leaves room for ramps, lifts, or doors that swing fully open. That extra width can save time if you are transferring from a wheelchair or loading a walker alongside luggage.
Curbside drop-off at the Main Terminal still sits only a short roll or walk from Accessible Parking, so some drivers park in an ADA space, escort a passenger to the doors, then return to move the vehicle if they are not staying. Before doing that, check posted ICT rules at the lot entrance about leaving vehicles and curb times.
Practical tip: If you need van-accessible height or extra ramp space, drive slowly through the first rows closest to the Main Terminal and check signage so you do not end up in a standard-width ADA stall further out.
