Near T2 departure gates, CU is your last-minute supply run.
CU Convenience Store in Terminal T2 sits airside, handy if you realize at the gate that you forgot snacks or toiletries. It runs long hours, often from early morning departures through late-night flights, so you can grab something even on a 06:00 or 23:00 departure. Think standard Korean convenience store inside the airport: drinks, instant noodles, kimbap, candy, and basic travel items.
Pricing tracks closer to city CU branches than typical duty free: bottled water usually around 1,000–1,500 KRW, simple kimbap in the 2,000–3,000 KRW range, and cup ramyeon around 1,500–2,500 KRW. That makes it one of the cheaper food options in T2 compared to sit-down spots where mains easily hit 12,000–18,000 KRW. For a sub-10,000 KRW meal, grab ramyeon, kimbap, and a drink here instead of a full restaurant.
CU in T2 also carries basics for a long-haul: travel-size toothpaste, toothbrushes, tissues, power drinks, and packaged pastries you can bring onto a 10–14 hour flight. You can also pick up Korean snacks like Choco Pie or Honey Butter Chips to take on board or home. Skip anything that needs reheating if your gate area microwave is crowded; cold items and packaged snacks are quicker on a tight 40-minute boarding window.
Practical tip: stock up at CU after clearing security in T2 rather than buying drinks on board, since a single in-flight beer can run 3–4 times the CU can price.
