T1’s Books and More sits landside near check‑in at Incheon

Books and More in ICN Terminal 1 gives you a last-minute shot at something to read before security. Stock skews toward Korean-language titles, but you’ll usually find a decent chunk of English bestsellers and travel guides on one or two shelves. Prices run close to downtown Seoul bookstore levels, not airport-gouge, so a standard paperback typically lands in the 12,000–18,000 KRW range.

The shop focuses on books and magazines, with a smaller section of simple gifts and travel gear. Think notebooks, pens, basic headphones, and a few kids’ activity books that can save a 10-hour ICN–LAX flight. If you want glossy fashion or news magazines in English, check here before heading through security in T1; selection post‑security can thin out quickly on late-night banks.

Hours track the main T1 schedule, generally opening early morning before the first wave of departures and running into the late evening, but figure roughly 07:00 to 21:00 as a safe bet. Because it’s on the public side of Terminal 1, you can swing by even if you’re meeting someone or arriving by AREX without a boarding pass yet. Use this stop to grab something lightweight; hardcovers and big coffee-table books get annoying on a 14-hour flight.

Tip: If you care about having an English paperback for a long-haul out of T1, buy it here before security rather than gambling on your gate area newsstand.
