Starbucks Coffee

T1

Near most T1 gates, Starbucks is the quickest coffee fix.

This Starbucks sits in Terminal 1 at Incheon (ICN), so you stay airside and close to your gate instead of hunting outside security. It runs from early morning into late evening on most days, matching the big departure banks to the US and Europe. Expect the usual green sign, counter-service setup, and a line that moves reasonably fast compared to some local chains in T1.

Drinks track standard Korean Starbucks pricing, with a tall hot latte landing around 5,000–5,500 KRW and brewed coffee cheaper. Seasonal drinks rotate often, and you’ll see more tea and fruit-based options than a typical US store. Food means pre-made sandwiches, pastries, and cakes in the 3,000–8,000 KRW range. If you need something quick before a T1 short-haul hop to Japan or China, this is a safe 5‑minute stop.

Menu boards list items in Korean and English, and staff are used to handling international travelers on tight connections. You can order your usual custom drink (extra shots, non-dairy milk, less syrup) without getting blank stares. Mobile ordering through the Korean Starbucks app works with a local account, but tourists usually just pay at the counter with card or mobile wallet. Grab-and-go shelves near the register make it easy to snag bottled cold brew or juice when you’re racing to a Gate 20–40 departure.

Starbucks cards and stars from other countries do not earn or redeem here; Korea runs its own program. Power outlets are limited compared to a full café in Seoul, so don’t plan a 2-hour work session before a 13-hour T1 long-haul to LAX. Seats turn quickly and are fine for 15–20 minutes of email and coffee. If your boarding time is within 30 minutes, stick to drip coffee and bakery items; bar drinks can back up during morning peaks.

Practical tip: order at Starbucks, then finish any duty-free at nearby T1 shops while they prep your drink, instead of standing at the counter watching the queue.
