Korean Food Street

T1

Gate-side stalls in T1 serving classic Korean dishes fast

Korean Food Street sits airside in Terminal 1 at Incheon, set up like a mini food court with several small stands focused on local dishes. You’ll see the usual airport staples, but the headliners are Korean basics: bibimbap, kimchi jjigae, bulgogi rice bowls, and noodle soups. Most mains land in the ₩10,000–₩16,000 range, which is average for ICN and cheaper than many Western chains in T1.

This spot works well if you have 40–60 minutes between flights in T1, since everything is already prepped and cooked to order quickly. Portions lean generous by airport standards, so one bibimbap or soup is usually enough for a full meal, and you still get banchan-style sides like kimchi or pickled radish on the tray. Staff turn tables over quickly, so even during T1’s mid-day rush, waits usually stay under 15–20 minutes.

Menus at the stalls show pictures plus English and Korean descriptions, and prices are clearly listed in won and sometimes in approximate USD. Expect standard spice levels: kimchi jjigae and tteokbokki run hot, while bulgogi and japchae stay mild. If you’re not used to heat, stick to bulgogi rice bowls or mandu (dumplings) and skip the bright-red stews. Soft drinks and bottled water run around ₩2,000–₩3,000, with beer a bit higher.

Korean Food Street sits in the main concourse of T1, so it’s easy to reach from most gates without backtracking through extra security checks. Seating is open, food-court style, with hard chairs and basic tables that work fine for a quick 20–30 minute sit-down. Power outlets are limited, so charge near your T1 gate instead of counting on a plug here.

One practical tip: look for the stall with the longest line in Korean Food Street and copy that order; at ICN T1, locals usually queue for the better broth or fresher side dishes.
