3–5 minute walk from T2 check-in desks
Terminal 2 Short-Term Parking sits directly in front of ICN T2, about a 3–5 minute covered walk to the Korean Air and SkyTeam check-in islands. It’s set up for drop-offs, pick-ups, and same-day trips, not for long vacations. If you’re carrying larger bags to counters on the 3rd floor, this is the closest car-to-trolley option you’ll get.
Rates run on an hourly structure, with pricing increasing after the first 30 minutes and a daily cap if you run over. Stays of under 24 hours generally cost less than moving the car to the long-term lots once you factor in shuttle time. Payment machines accept Korean cards and major international credit cards, and there’s a staffed booth during core flight banks spanning early morning to late evening.
The car park is multi-level, covered on most floors, and tied directly into the terminal via pedestrian bridges on designated levels. Clearance is standard for sedans and most SUVs; check posted height limits at the ramp entrance if you’re driving a taller van. Signage is in Korean and English, and floor numbers are clearly marked near the elevators.
Wayfinding boards show live space counts by floor, so if Level 1 fills up, it’s usually faster to skip straight to Levels 3 or 4 rather than circling. Elevators and escalators cluster near the middle of each level; if you park near the numbered pillars closest to the elevator core, the walk to security on the 3rd floor stays under 10 minutes.
Practical tip: Snap a photo of your floor and section number at the pillar before heading to departures; late-night arrivals after 22:00 make every row look the same.
