T1’s Caffriccio tends to blur into the other coffee bars.
Post-security in Terminal T1, Caffriccio is one of several nearly identical counters serving espresso, bottled water, and grab-and-go snacks before the Ibiza–Europe holiday flights board. It’s the sort of place you spot near the gate when you realize your Vueling or Ryanair flight is actually running on time and you’ve got 12 minutes to grab a caffeine hit.
Expect standard airport pricing: a basic espresso usually sits in the €2–€3 range, with larger milk drinks like cappuccinos and lattes running higher, and packaged sandwiches pushing past €6 depending on fillings. Most food is pre-made and refrigerated, so think plastic-wrapped baguettes and pastries rather than anything cooked to order. You’re paying for speed and proximity to your boarding zone, not for a memorable café stop.
Seating is limited and leans on the shared terminal chairs just a few meters from the counter, so you’ll often see people standing with a paper cup while watching the departure screens cycle through IBZ’s mid-summer wave of 20:00–23:00 leisure departures. Power outlets in this stretch of T1 are hit-or-miss, and you may need to walk 30–40 meters to find one if you want to charge a phone while you drink.
With no standout specialty drink or signature dish tied to Caffriccio specifically, most regular Ibiza flyers online don’t even mention it, focusing instead on the small lounge or heading into Ibiza Town for a proper coffee earlier in the day. Use this place when you’ve already cleared security, your gate is posted on the screens, and you just need a quick espresso and a bottle of water before lining up in the boarding queue.
Practical tip: if your boarding pass time is under 30 minutes away, Caffriccio is fine; if you’ve got more than an hour in T1, walk the terminal once first and pick whichever bar is closest to your actual gate.
