Staff Parking

Restricted

Staff use this gated lot instead of public parking at HRG

Staff Parking at Hurghada International Airport sits on the airport perimeter and is reserved for employees working in Terminals 1 and 2. Entry is controlled by staff ID or permit; there’s no walk-up ticket machine and no public tariff board posted at the gate. If you’re a passenger looking for somewhere to leave a rental car, this is not an option and security will turn you back toward the main public parking areas by Terminal 1.

This is a restricted facility managed by the airport operator for airline, handling, and concession staff based at HRG. Access typically ties to your employment contract or airport-issued badge, not to a daily fee you can just pay on arrival. Expect standard surface parking with marked bays, not a multilevel structure, and a shorter walk to staff entrances than from the regular passenger lot by the main terminal frontage.

Because Staff Parking isn’t advertised on passenger maps or booking sites, many first-time workers at Hurghada only hear about it during airside induction briefings. If you’re starting a job with an airline in Terminal 2 or at ground handling in Terminal 1, confirm with HR which gate to use and what plate or badge details you must register before driving to the airport. Turning up without prior approval usually means parking in the paid public lot and walking in through the main departures forecourt.

Use Staff Parking only if your contract at Hurghada International explicitly mentions an airport staff permit or space allocation. Everyone else should plan around the regular passenger parking close to Terminal 1 and treat the staff lot as off-limits rather than a backup option when the main car park feels busy.
