Priority Pass gets you into Plumeria Lounge in Terminal 1

On the third level of Terminal 1 at HNL, the Plumeria Lounge is the main Priority Pass option for Hawaiian inter-island and some international flights. Access rules vary by card issuer, but this is the lounge most people with Priority Pass end up in on the T1 side. Signage near the Terminal 1 security area points you to an elevator up to the lounge level.

Seats run out fast in the late afternoon, especially ahead of the 15:00–18:00 bank of inter-island departures. The space is described by FlyerTalk regulars as modest but friendly, with basic armchairs and small tables rather than full workstations. Power outlets exist but not at every seat, so charge what you can near the walls before you settle in.

Food here stays on the light side: think chips, simple sandwiches, and packaged snacks instead of a hot buffet. One FlyerTalk mini‑review specifically calls out a “reasonable array of snack and sandwich” items, so plan to eat a real meal in the terminal if you need something substantial. Expect self‑serve soft drinks, coffee, tea, and usually a small fridge with canned beverages.

Alcohol selection shifts a bit, but you’ll generally see basic beer and wine on offer, not a full cocktail bar. Because the lounge skews toward shorter inter‑island waits, many people just grab one drink and a sandwich, then head down to gates 50–72 in Terminal 1 about 30 minutes before departure. Don’t count on premium spirits or made‑to‑order drinks here.

Staff get good marks for being friendly and keeping the snack area refreshed, even when multiple flights to Maui, Kauai, and Kona crowd the lounge around 17:00. Cleanliness runs better than the main terminal seating, with tables wiped down regularly and trash cleared quickly. Restrooms are inside the lounge, which beats queuing with the general Terminal 1 crowd during peak times.

Watch out for: limited food options and the lack of true work areas; if you need privacy for calls or heavy laptop time before a long international leg, consider using Terminal 2 landside seating or a different lounge after a short walk through the central lobby.

Tip: if your Priority Pass allows only one guest, use the lounge mainly for drinks, Wi‑Fi, and a quick snack, then head down to the Terminal 1 food court near the central atrium for a proper meal before boarding.
