Near T4 domestic gates at HGH, Relay is your basic grab-and-go newsstand.
You’ll find Relay in Terminal T4, airside after security, so it works for a last-minute stop when you’re already at the gates. Exact hours aren’t clearly posted online, but shops in T4 generally track first departures through late-evening flights, roughly 06:30–22:00. Treat it as a backup plan, not your only source for a 05:30 departure.
This is the standard Relay setup: shelves of drinks, packaged snacks, instant noodles, and a rack of magazines and books. Expect bottled water and soft drinks to run in the 6–10 RMB range, pricier than downtown Hangzhou but normal for Xiaoshan. It’s fine for grabbing a tea drink or a quick chocolate bar before a short hop to Shanghai or Guangzhou.
Don’t count on full meals here; Relay in T4 leans more toward impulse buys than real food. If you want something substantial for a 2–3 hour flight, hit a proper restaurant in T4 first, then use Relay as a backup for extra snacks. Power banks and basic travel accessories usually sit near the counter, but prices can jump 20–30% over Taobao.
Practical tip: buy water and any charging cable you need in one pass here so you don’t have to circle back from your gate in T4.
