Five minutes from T, shuttle vans run to rental cars

At Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport (GZP) Terminal T, the Rental Car Shuttle links the arrivals area with off-site rental lots used by several agencies. Vans usually wait just outside the main exit, about a 2–3 minute walk from baggage claim belts. Journey time depends on which rental company you booked with, but most lots sit within a short drive of the terminal.

Each rental company at GZP runs its own shuttle, so timing and route vary by brand. Some operators send a van as soon as flights land, others stick closer to their printed timetables, with regular services throughout the day. If your voucher lists a local phone number, call once you’ve cleared customs in T to confirm the pick-up point and approximate shuttle departure.

Most shuttles are small minibuses with limited luggage racks, so a family of four with two 23 kg checked bags each may need to wait for the next run. If you’re landing during the July–August peak, assume an extra 15–20 minutes in case the first van fills. For late-night arrivals into GZP, check your rental’s operating hours in advance; some desks close around midnight and the last shuttle run may line up with that time.

There’s no separate ticket for the Rental Car Shuttle at GZP; the ride is included in your rental reservation and runs from Terminal T straight to your provider’s lot. Most operators group customers from several simultaneous arrivals into one run, so one van might serve 2–3 back-to-back flights. If your rental counter is inside the terminal, staff usually direct you to a numbered parking bay where the shuttle pulls in.

Watch out for unmarked vehicles in the pickup lane outside T offering rides to “rental office” for a flat cash fee, sometimes quoted around 15–20 EUR. Stick to vans with your rental company’s logo and, if in doubt, confirm the driver’s name against your reservation. For peace of mind, screenshot your booking with the company name and phone number before you board your flight to GZP.

One practical move: build a 30-minute buffer between scheduled landing at GZP and any onward drive plan from the rental lot, especially if you’re aiming to reach Alanya or Gazipaşa town before dark.
