P1

Short-term parking

90 seconds from T1 check-in, P1 is the quick-stop garage

P1 sits directly opposite Geneva Airport’s T1 terminal, with a covered walk of roughly 1–2 minutes to the main departures hall. It’s signed as “P1 – courte durée / Kurzzeit / short term” and sits above the train station area, so you can go from car door to check‑in counters in under 5 minutes if you’re light on bags.

This is short‑term parking only: P1 is meant for drop-offs, pick-ups, and quick trips, not multi-day storage. Tariffs run by the hour, with a marked jump once you pass the first 60–90 minutes, and it becomes noticeably more expensive than the long‑term P26 or P20 once you go past about 24 hours. Payment machines accept cards and Swiss francs, and many also take euros at a fixed rate.

P1 is fully covered, with multiple levels and a height limit posted at the entrance (check the current meter reading if you’re in an SUV with a box on the roof). Access is straightforward from the airport ring road: follow signs for “Arrivées / Arrivals” and then peel off for “P1 courte durée.” Lifts and escalators drop you directly to the arrivals level at T1.

There’s no direct link from P1 to T2 charter operations, so if you’re flying from T2 budget carriers you’ll walk or shuttle back from T1, which can add 10–15 minutes. For stays longer than a day, the airport itself points drivers to P26 (under T1) or outlying lots to avoid P1’s higher short‑term rates.

Tip: If you’re meeting someone off an evening arrival, aim for P1 and check the arrivals screens near the lifts before paying; if the flight is delayed by 30+ minutes, loop back out and use a cheaper car park instead.
