Upstate Marketplace

Gate-area grab-and-go near the Main Terminal concourse

Just past security in GSP’s Main Terminal concourse, Upstate Marketplace covers the basics for a short layover snack run. You’re airside, so it’s a quick detour from most gates, and it runs on standard airport convenience-store pricing: expect bottled drinks in the $3–5 range and packaged snacks around $2–6. Think chips, candy, protein bars, gum, and a fridge with sodas, juices, and water. It feels more like a stocked newsstand than a sit-down spot, so plan to grab it and head back to your seat.

Along with food, Upstate Marketplace sells travel odds and ends that save a trip back landside. You’ll see phone charging cables around $15–25, basic headphones, neck pillows, and small health items like pain relievers and motion-sickness tablets in blister packs. There’s usually a rack of regional souvenirs under $20—mugs, magnets, and Carolina-themed T‑shirts—if you forgot a gift in town. You pay at a single central counter, and tap-to-pay works, which speeds things up when a bank of flights from American, Delta, or United dumps people into the concourse at once.

Upstate Marketplace generally keeps to airport hours, opening early for the first morning departures and closing around the last outbound flights on the Main side, usually early evening to late night depending on the schedule. Don’t expect hot meals or espresso here; this is a fill-the-gap stop between the main food outlets at GSP. If you care about cold drinks, grab them here before you sit down at your gate; coolers closer to the busier boarding areas can be picked over during peak departure banks.
