Carolina Connect sits airside in the Main terminal at GSP, past security and along the single concourse, so you pass it on the way to most gates. It runs standard airport retail hours, roughly from the first departures around 4:30–5:00 a.m. until the last evening flights. Figure 5–10 minutes from any gate to swing by, since GSP is small and the walkable concourse is straightforward.
Expect regional gifts alongside standard travel basics. You’ll see South Carolina-themed shirts and mugs next to magazines, snacks, and grab-and-go drinks. Prices run higher than off-airport: bottled drinks often hit the $3–4 mark, and logo gear climbs quickly past $25. It fills the gap if you forgot a small present from the Upstate or need something simple for the flight like gum, a phone cable, or a neck pillow.
Selection is airport-compact, so don’t plan full-on grocery shopping here. If you want warm food, you’ll still head to the Main terminal food outlets near the center of the concourse, then loop back to your gate. Payment is standard: major cards work, and contactless tap usually does too. Tip: hit Carolina Connect right after clearing security so you’re not sprinting back from the shop when boarding starts 30 minutes before departure.
