Hudson

Gate-side at GSP’s Main terminal, Hudson covers the basics.

Hudson sits past security in the Main terminal at Greenville-Spartanburg (GSP), pulling double duty as a newsstand and quick food stop. You’ll see it near several common GSP departure gates, so it’s an easy grab on the walk to boarding. The rating clocks in at 18.9, which tracks: service is fine, food is serviceable, nothing fancy.

Hours roughly track the flight bank, opening early with the first departures around 4:30–5:00 a.m. and closing after the last evening flights. That early start matters at GSP, where not every stand is open for the 6:00 a.m. wave. If you land after 10:00 p.m., expect limited hot options and treat Hudson as more of a snack-and-drinks stop.

Food is classic airport quick-serve: pre-made sandwiches and wraps, packaged salads, chips, candy, and pastry. Prices sit in the usual airport range, with sandwiches in the $9–$13 band and bottled drinks near $4. You’re paying for proximity to the gate, not a sit-down meal. It’s the place to grab something you can eat in a middle seat on a CRJ or E175.

On the drink side, you’ll find canned soft drinks, bottled water, and grab-and-go coffee in the $3–$5 range. Don’t expect a full bar or espresso program here; if you want a proper latte or draft beer, you’re better off scouting another Main terminal restaurant before you walk down to your gate.

Watch out for items that have clearly sat for a while; check the timestamp on salads and cold sandwiches and skip anything close to the printed expiration time. Fresh pastry or chips plus a drink is usually the safest bet when stock looks thin late in the day.

Tip: if you have under 15 minutes before boarding at a Main terminal gate, Hudson is the quickest way to walk off with food and a drink without risking a last-call boarding page.
