Chick-fil-A

Open · Mon–Wed & Fri–Sat 04:30–19:30; Thu closed; Sun closed[3]

First flights out of GSP? This Chick-fil-A opens at 4:30 a.m.

Post-security in GSP’s Main terminal, the airport Chick-fil-A is one of the only spots serving a full hot breakfast for those 05:30–07:00 departures. It opens at 04:30 Monday–Wednesday and Friday–Saturday, then shuts down at 19:30, with the doors completely closed on Thursdays and Sundays.

Menu is the standard Chick-fil-A lineup: chicken biscuit and hash browns in the early hours, then sandwiches, nuggets, and waffle fries once the grills switch over late morning. Prices run a bit higher than street locations, but not by much for an airport; expect a chicken sandwich combo to land in the low teens after tax.

Seating is shared with the Main terminal food court, so you’re eating at common tables within sight of several gates. That makes this a quick grab before boarding regional flights on American, Delta, or United out of GSP, especially for that first bank when many other options are still dark.

Thursday closure catches people off guard, because hours shift from 04:30–19:30 on Wednesday to completely closed the very next day. Same story on Sundays, in line with the brand’s usual policy. If your flight is on Thursday or Sunday, assume you’ll be walking past locked gates and plan on a snack from somewhere else in the terminal.

There aren’t consistent complaints in recent reviews, which is rare for fast food at a small airport. Lines form in the 06:00–08:00 crunch when several departures stack up, but staff moves orders out in a few minutes, especially on biscuit-only runs.

Practical tip: on a 06:00 or 07:00 Main terminal departure Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, or Saturday, hit this Chick-fil-A by 05:15 if you want time to eat without inhaling your chicken biscuit at the gate.
