Footlongs before boarding in T1
This Subway sits airside in Terminal T1 at Goa Dabolim, so you’re through security before you see it. It runs standard Subway India formats: build-your-own subs, wraps, and salads with vegetarian and non-veg options clearly marked. Expect the familiar lineup: Veggie Delite, Aloo Patty, Paneer Tikka, Chicken Tikka, and the usual cold cuts, all on 6-inch or 12-inch bread.
Pricing is airport-inflated but still one of the cheaper branded options in GOI T1. A 6-inch sub typically runs in the ₹180–₹260 range, with footlongs roughly double that, and add-ons like extra cheese around ₹30–₹40. Combo deals with a drink and a cookie usually land near the ₹300–₹400 mark for a basic 6-inch set.
Speed is the selling point here: staff are used to quick turnarounds for 6E and AI departures, and you can usually order, pay, and walk out within 10 minutes if there isn’t a group ahead. It’s a good grab-and-go move if boarding starts in 20–30 minutes and you still want something familiar you can eat at the gate.
Menu is the usual Indian Subway playbook, so you’ll see both Jain-friendly options and eggless cookies on the counter. Sauces include the standard Chipotle Southwest, Mint Mayonnaise, and Sweet Onion, plus classic Mustard and Mayo. If you’re sensitive to spice, ask them to go light on the Chipotle and heavier on plain mayo; they’ll adjust without blinking.
There aren’t many seats: think a handful of tables shared with the surrounding food court in T1 rather than a full restaurant. If your gate is at the far end of the terminal, give yourself at least 10–15 minutes to grab your sub and walk back. Tip: get it “toasted” so it holds up better in the sometimes over-cooled T1 gate areas.
