$12 per day keeps you in GNV’s main surface long-term lot

Daily max runs $12 in the Long-Term Parking lot at Gainesville Regional (T), which is the go-to choice for trips longer than a quick overnight. It’s a standard surface lot, not a garage, and it sits directly next to Short-Term Parking, so you still walk to the small terminal instead of waiting on a shuttle.

The long-term lot has two drive-in points: entrances on both the east and west sides of the main parking area by Short-Term and Long Term East. That helps during peak hours on Monday mornings or Friday evenings, because you can circle in from either side of the access road instead of queuing at one choke point.

Pricing is simple: after 5 hours parked, you hit the daily maximum of $12 and stay at that rate through 24 hours. That structure favors 24–72 hour trips and week-long travel out of GNV, where the bill stays predictable instead of racking up hourly surprises. You pay the same flat long-term rate whether you use the east or west entrance.

The airport notes that overflow lots open when the primary long-term and short-term areas fill, especially around holiday peaks and UF home game weekends in Gainesville. If you arrive during one of those crunch times, you may be waved past the main surface lot to a signed overflow area, then walk or ride a marked shuttle back toward terminal T.

Designated disabled permit spaces sit in both Short-Term and Long-Term lots, and GNV says regular posted rates still apply unless you qualify under a specific Florida statutory exemption. That means a disabled placard alone does not automatically zero out your $12 daily long-term charge, so bring any required Florida documentation if you expect discounted parking.

Tip: Aim for the west-side entrance first; if that section looks full, loop around once to the east entrance before giving up and following signs to overflow.
